VICI Learning New Westminster Family Day 2024

Family Day Weekend: Feb 18th, 2024

We are thrilled to announce VICI Learning will be presenting two FREE activities as part of the City of New Westminster’s Family Day Weekend: Piece together an adventure with your family. (see photo gallery below).

A fun day for the entire family: family tree arts & crafts activity for the little ones (6-12 years old), and wire maze contest for the youth (12-17 years old). Both activities will be held simultaneously at Queensborough Community Centre on Sunday February 18th between 1.30pm and 5.30pm. Drop-ins welcome.

Growing Together: Explore and Craft Your Family Tree

(6-12 years old)

Discover your family's story through art! Join us for a fun-filled day where you can create your own family tree using arts and crafts. Dive into your heritage as you piece together colorful branches and leaves, capturing the roots of your family's journey. With the guidance and assistance of our volunteers, you can enjoy this hands-on activity and leave with a beautiful piece to treasure at home. Don't miss out on this opportunity to bond with your loved ones and celebrate your unique family history!

Materials & supplies will be provided. Bring your family pictures and history for extra personal touch!

Sparks of Unity: Family Team Quest for Electric Wire Maze

(12-17 years old)

Ever wondered if you could build your own buzz wire maze? Well, now's your chance! Team up and twist that wire into a wild maze DIY challenge. Then, get ready, set, go! Can your family beat the clock in our buzzing competition? For extra action and excitement, the fastest family wins cash prizes: $100 for first, $50 for second, and $25 for third. Don't miss out—grab your spot and let's buzz into action together!
